Blood sample

Horror story with a medical themeblood donating - writing a horror story

You are a penniless student, desperately in debt, and, just when you think things couldn’t get worse, your landlord threatens you with eviction.

What do you do?

You sell your blood to a private clinic, of course.

But, if an offer seems far too good to be true… it probably isn’t a good idea to take it up.

I got the idea for this short story from a media report of an experiment involving rats and blood transfusions. The trouble is, I’m enjoying writing the piece so much, I got carried away with developing the plot, and – with 2,000 words down – I’m only about half way through. Must return and finish it on another day.

That was yesterday’s story. Day 11 of NaNoWriMo and #30days30shorts.

Onwards. Day 12. Need to move on.
