My 2013 NaNo novel is set in a dystopian future.
Working title: Chasing Credit.
Tone: A mash-up of 1984 and Brave New World with a contemporary twist.
Words written so far =0 (but it’s only 10 am on NaNo day 1 – so not panicking yet).

A great start on day one, Ruth. I’d love to have a go one year but for now I need to finish the novel I’m already writing. Instead, I’ve signed up to the Running Bug’s November challenge and will be aiming to run 100 miles minimum in November. Managed eight yesterday so pleased with that. Keep us updated, yes?

We’ll compare notes on December 1st! I am pushing ahead with the novel but I don’t think I could write nearly 7,500 words in three days. That’s some going!
