I am proud to report that my 6 Minute Story, The Swing, was selected as one of the 6 Minute Story site’s featured stories.
This may seem a trivial achievement to published authors, but to a beginner like myself, it is one of those feel-good moments that make you want to carry on writing.
At 283 words, the story doesn’t really count as microfiction, but it certainly fits into the flash fiction category.
Just for fun, I ran the story through the I Write Like analyser on the I Write Like web site and was astonished to find that, for this particular story at least, I write like Neil Gaiman!
